Municipal elections are scheduled every odd number year.

City Council Race (3 Seats)

A Vernal City Municipal Election will be held to elect three City Council members to serve four-year terms on November 5, 2019 general election.  If necessary, a primary election will be held August 13, 2019. 

Each person seeking to become a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy form with the City Recorder's office during the hours of 8 am to 5 pm at City Hall.  

Candidates Declaring Candidacy must file June 3 to June 7, 2019.
