For freestanding and projecting signs attached to a building, there shall be a minimum of ten (10) feet between the ground or sidewalk and any part of projecting signs. Public necessity signs and monument signs (signs which are permanently anchored, freestanding and no more than five (5) feet in height) may be exempt from this requirement. (PZSC § 03-13-003)
