Ballots have gone out in the mail and you should be receiving them any day. In-person voting will be available from 7am-8pm on Election Day, November 2nd and during Early Vote October 19th-29th from 8am – 5pm. There will only be one polling location located in the County Building 147 E Main St. Vernal, UT. The voter registration deadline is October 22, 2021.  Ballot drop boxes will be available from October 12th– November 2nd in the following locations:

      ·204 E 100 N, Vernal outside of the Uintah County Library

      ·147 E Main inside the Uintah County Building

City Council Race (2 Seats)

A Vernal City Municipal Election will be held to elect the Mayor and two City Council members to serve four-year terms on November 2, 2021 general election.  If necessary, a primary election will be held August 10, 2021. 

Each person seeking to become a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy form with the City Recorder's office during the hours of 8 am to 5 pm at City Hall.  

Candidates Declaring Candidacy must file June 1 to June 7, 2021. 

The Vernal City Election will be conducted by mail.
