The Downtown Alliance welcomes all advocates for downtown revitalization including business owners, residents, property owners, government officials, ecclesiastical leaders and non-for-profit groups. The Chair of Alliance can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the Alliance email list for information and meeting notices.
The downtown projects will receive a boost from the federal Community Project Funding. The City will receive $1.2M in federal funding. City staff worked through Rep. Blake Moore’s office and submitted the project request in May 2021. The Vernal project made it through the rigorous review process and was selected to receive funding.
The Downtown Plan is a reflection of the community's hopes and ideas. Throughout the planning process, there have been many opportunities for the public, business owners and key stakeholders to share input, which is reflected in this document.
The Downtown Plan was reviewed by City Council and County Commission in November 2021. Steps are being taken to implement the plan.
